As part of Mediacorp TV Channel 8’s latest branding campaign, the button badges are distributed as a token of encouragement to be passed on to others. With WHO’s H1N1 warning still at yellow and the economy still in the early stages of recovery, it is refreshing to be on the receiving end of positive words.
We can all do with some encouragement no matter what is the situation we are in. Our potential can be realised when we encourage instead of tearing down one another. Channel 8 hopes to uplift the spirits of Singaporeans and start a chain of positive encouragement all around our nation.
A similar group of “encouragers” will be going to different parts of Singapore this week to cheer people on and to distribute the “Press on” buttons. The free buttons are also available to the public from customer service counters of Bugis Junction, IMM, Junction 8, Lot One, Tampines Mall and MediaCorp Reception.
